HRANA- The deputy warden of Karoon Ahwaz Prison has denied Abolfazl Abedini, journalist and human rights activist, his visitation rights for two more weeks.
HRANA reporters have learned that he was informed last night by Karoon Ahwaz Prison’s deputy warden that he is not allowed to have any family visitations for two more weeks. This comes a week after Abedini was denied a visit by his mother.

It is important to note that there has not been any reason given by the warden as to why he is being denied his rights.
Abolfazl Abedini is serving an 11 year sentence and was allowed only non contact visits.  Although he suffers from a severe heart condition, two petitions for medical leave have been denied.
