HRANA News Agency – The third anniversary of “Nikmard Taheri”, Yarsany citizen’s self-immolation in protest against the desecration of one of his fellows, was held with attendance of hundreds of Yarsan followers on his tomb. This ceremony was held with reaffirming the demand for recognition of this religion by the audience.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the third anniversary of self-immolation of “Nikmard Taheri” who set himself in fire to against protest the desecration of one of his fellows was held by attendance of hundreds of Yarsan followers on May 7th.
The ceremony was held on his tomb, because the government forces prevented it from being held in the Hall of the city, under tight security measurements.
A number of speakers appealed to the government for ignoring the rights of citizens and recognizing them, and urged senior government officials including the supreme leader to consider the people’s demands and stop systematic and purposeful discrimination of these people.
