Ebrahim Nuri and Akbar Jahangirzadeh Released after a Day of Detention

HRANA News Agency – Ebrahim Nuri and Akbar Jahangirzadeh, two activists from Ahar who had been arrested as a prevention from activities coinciding with the arrival of Qods Day, were released on July 2 after being held for a day by the security agencies.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ebrahim Nuri and Akbar Jahangirzadeh, two activists from Ahar who had been arrested on Thursday, June 30, by the intelligence police, were released after a day on July 2, 2016.
It is said that the reason for the detention of these two was “prevention of crimes due to their activities last year in Qods Day in support of some Turkish “oppressed” minorities in other countries, including China, Azerbaijan and Turkmens in Syria.”
