HRANA News Agency – After more than three weeks since the arrest of Mostafa Khalili Rad, writer, journalist and resident of Bojnourd by security forces, there is no information about his status.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mostafa Khalili Rad (Kaveh), journalist from Bojnourd was arrested by security forces on Sunday, August 28.
Mr. Khalili Rad’s family has not been allowed to visit him and this journalist has not made a phone call so far.
Close sources to this family, have reported about the pressures on this family to not publish and any news and not get into contact with the media.
According to the informed sources, this Kurdish journalist is being kept in solitary confinement of intelligence service of Bojnourd detention centre, and possibly under pressure and harassment.
Need to be mentioned, Association of Ghalam-e-Kurd (Kurdish Pen) has published a statement during past days and expressed their concern about the status of this journalist and the condition that he is being kept in.
Mostafa Khalili Rad had cooperated with many Kurdish press and most of his activities during recent years were focused on Kurdish literature, poet and story writing.
