The 78th Number of Peace Line Was Published

HRANA News Agency – The seventy-eighth number of the Peace Line was published with the participation of a group of Iranian civil activists.

The title of the special case of the seventy-eighth number of Peace Line is freedom of assembly. The right which has been emphasized in many human rights treaties, especially the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, as a basic right, but in Iran, this right is not recognized, at least in the scene of action, by the government. So many people have been sent to prisons simply because of the use of this right.

In this regard, a conversation with Raha Bahreini, lawyer and researcher at Amnesty International took place and this right has been addressed in terms of international law and its importance and status.

Some other objects have been addressed in the issue of the Peace Line, including the specific step-by-step report to the suspension of the marriage of children in Iran.

The seventy- eighth number of the Peace Line Monthly is also accompanied by notes from Shahin Sadeghzadeh Millani, Mohammad Mohebi, Ghahreman Ghanbari, Ellahe Amani, Ali Kalaie, Rayeh Mozafarian, Reza Akvanian, Farshid Refogaran, Ahmad Madadi, Ali Afshari, Mohammad Habibi, Nazila Rostamzadeh, Behdad Bordnar and a group of human rights and civil activists.
