HRANA – A judicial case has been filed against Reza Dormishian, a screenwriter and film director, on the charge of “propaganda against the regime.” The case is being heard by Branch 7 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as the complainant in the case, has also requested the seizure of his assets.

According to HRANA, a judicial case has been filed against Reza Dormishian, a screenwriter and film director.

Amir Raisian, an attorney, announced in a post that his client, Reza Dormishian, has been charged with “propaganda against the regime” and that proceedings in the case are underway at Branch 7 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.

According to the attorney, an arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Dormishian during the prosecutor’s office stage of the proceedings. The IRGC, as the complainant in the case, has also requested the seizure of the screenwriter and director’s assets.

Reza Dormishian, born in 1981 in Tehran, is a screenwriter and film director whose works include “I’m Not Angry!,” “Lantouri,” and “No Choice.” He has previously faced restrictions and judicial action in connection with his professional activities.
