HRANA News Agency – Shirzad Beigzadeh the former political prisoner has been arrested since almost two weeks ago and is not allowed to contact his family till now.
 
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), This Kurdish political activist has arrested on April 22, 2013 in Oroumiyah.
 
Shirzad’s family haunted several times to judiciary departments to follow up Shirzad’s condition whereas they have been told merely that “He has arrested because of security matters and there is no visitation opportunity with him yet”.
 
Shirzad Beigzadeh was arrested in spring of 2005 once again because of his political activities and was detained and interrogated in Oroumiyah intelligence for five months and 17 days whilst four months of the total he was in solitaire confinement.
 
One of his relatives said to HRANA correspondent that “Shirzad was beaten and tortured until his rib cage was broken in several points and then was released by bail.”
 
Shirzad Beigzadeh was sentenced to four years imprisonment by branch 1 of Oroumiyah revolutionary court in 2006 that with his objection to the verdict the provincial appealed reduced his verdict to one year imprisonment and three years suspended imprisonment.
 
His one year imprisonment verdict was enforced in 2009 and when his verdict ended and he was released in 2010 at least three time arrested by IRCG intelligence forces without any judiciary warrant and each time was detained 24 hours.
