HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Mirzai, the political prisoner of Vakil Abad prison in Mashhad, was released after five years and four months imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Mirzai had been arrested and sentenced to 6 years in prison by the revolutionary court on charge of supporting a conflicting group in Mashhad in 2009.
He has been released after serving 5 years and four months of his sentence.
An informed source said to HRANA’s reporter, “Mohammad Mirzai had an open heart surgery after a heart attack and was chained to bed all the time in handcuffs and shackles in hospital”.
