HRANA News Agency – Recently Aliasghar Mahoudian’s mother passed away however prison authorities refused to give him furlough to attend her funeral.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Th Aliasghar Mahmoudian’s mother, the 63 years old political prisoner of central prison of Semnan, passed away on Friday, January 23. But, prison authorities refused to give Mr. Mahmoudian furlough that he could attend his mother’s funeral ceremony.
The mother of this political prisoner was ill and the family and relatives of Aliasghar Mahmoudian asked for furlough in which he could have his last visit with his mother, but every time it was rejected.
Need to be mentioned, in March 2011, his father also had passed away after many months of illness and Aliasghar Mahmoudian did not have the chance for last visit or attending his funeral.
Aliasghar Mahmoudian was arrested in autumn 2009 and in branch number 15 of the revolutionary court and was sentenced to 6 years in prison on charge of Muharebeh by advocacy of MEK and has served 4.5 years of his sentence so far.
