Ayat Mehrali Baigloo transferred to Tabriz prison
HRANA News Agency – Ayat Mehrali Baigloo, member of central committee of Yeni-Gamoh has been transferred from Jolfa to Tabriz prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ayat (Youroush) Mehrali Baigloo, political prisoner and the member of central committee of Yeni-Gamoh, has been transferred from Jolfa prison, which is his native city, to Tabriz, on Thursday 25th of September.
Previously, he went on a hunger strike on April 15, in protest at harassment of political prisoners’ families and also rejection of his request for being transferred to his hometown prison. He ended it after 37 days, on May 21, by authorities’ agreement to his request.
Mahmood Fazli, Shahram Radmehr, Ayat (Youroush) Mehrali Baigloo, Latif Hassani and Behbood Gholizadeh are 5 members of central committee of Yeni-Gamoh, which were arrested by security forces in 2013 and each one of them has been sentenced to 9 years in prison.
