A Bahai Arrested in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – On June 1, security forces arrested Keyvan Pakzadan, a Bahai from Tehran, as he was leaving his home.
According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the agents also searched his home and seized some of his personal effects.
They then took him to his workplace, which they searched, seizing a laptop and some documents.
Later in the day, Mr. Pakzadan was allowed to contact his family briefly, and told them that he has been taken to section 209 in Evin Prison, a prison within the prison, which is run by the Ministry of Intelligence.
There was no arrest warrant, and no indication of the reason for his arrest.
