Behnam Moosivand Released after Serving His Sentence

HRANA News Agency – Behnam Moosivand, political prisoner of hall number 12 of Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj was released after serving his sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Moosivand was released from Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj by the end of his sentence on June 4.

Behnam Moosivand, civil rights activist, in the same lawsuit with Arash Sadeghi, Golrokh Irai, and Navid Kamran was sentenced to 1 year in prison. Then his previous conditional two years of imprisonment were accumulated. This sentence was reduced to 12 month in July 2015 by appeal court of branch number 54.

This civil right activist went to Evin prison in order to serve his sentence and was transferred to hall number 10 of ward 8 in this prison. He was exiled to Rajaei Shahr prison in Karaj, and after spending sometimes in the quarantine ward, sent to ward number 4 of hall number 12 where political prisoners were being kept.
