A Civil Rights Activist Arrested in Tekab

HRANA News Agency – Ramin Rezaei, civil activist, was arrested after being summoned to Tekab city’s Law- enforcement office and then was transferred to Mahabad prison to serve his 91 days imprisonment sentence.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ramin Rezaei, civil activist, from Tekab city, was summoned to Tekab city’s Law- enforcement office, on 3rd February, Thursday, and then was transferred to Mahabad prison to serve his sentence.
He was arrested by security forces on 7th September 2011 and on 3rd August 2013 was sentenced to 91 days imprisonment by branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court in Mahabad, presided by Judge Ahmad Javadi Kia on charge of propaganda against the regime.
