Concern about Arash Sharifi’s situation in central prison of Kashan

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sharifi, the prisoner of conscience sentenced to death in central prison of Kashan is suffering from chronic asthma however the authorities do nothing for him.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Arash Sharifi, the Sunni conscience prisoner was transferred from ward 10 of Rajai Shahr prion of Karaj to Kashan central prison on Wednesday October 8.
One of his relatives told HRANA’s reporter: “He got sick and suffered from chronic asthma and has severe asthma attacks. He has been suffering a stroke and choking recently but the authorities have done nothing to cure him or transfer him to hospitals.”

He said: “Kashan prison’s environment is heavily contaminated with allergens that cause these attacks.”
Arash Sharifi was arrested in October 2009 and was sentenced to death by 28 Branch of the Revolutionary Court presided by Judge Mohammed Moghisei on charges of supporting the Salafi groups.
His relatives say during the investigation and trial, he repeatedly denied the charges and the reasons for his detention as has  been religious issues.
