HRANA News Agency – Fatemeh Musana, a former political prisoner in the 1980s, was arrested in 2012 again and along with her husband they were sentenced to 15 years imprisonment. His three brothers were executed in the 1980s and while she was only 13 years old, she in the prison along with her mother for 2 and 4 years in the first decade of the Islamic Republic. Fatemeh Musana and her husband, Hassan Sadeghi are currently in prison and businesses of Mr. Sadeghi and their house is being confiscated, which will cut off the source of their income as well as their elderly mother’s and the teenager children’s income and take away their shelter.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Fatemeh Musana, born on 5, June 1968, who has a son and a daughter, is serving her 15 years in prison sentence in women’s ward of Evin prison.
Her husband, Hassan Sadeghi is serving his 15 years in prison sentence in Rajae Shahr prison in Karaj.
The couple’s children, are headed by Ms. Fatemeh Musana’s mother, 85. The couple were deprived of a meeting for more than two months, when Mohammad Mardani the head of Rajai Shahr prison, was chosen, due to refusing to wear contaminated clothing with handcuffs and Shackles.
Their 13-year-old daughter named Maryam could not met her parents for more than 2 months, because she is a student and also because absence of a mighty head who could take her to prison for a limited time.
Fatemeh Musana broke her leg in the prison recently and due to lack of treatment, her leg was in the plaster for 2 months and she has not fully recovered yet.
On the other hand, Mrs. Musana’s mother is old and two weeks ago due to a broken hip bone, for the second time she had to be be hospitalized to undergo a surgery. By all accounts, their children are unsupervised.
Despite repeated requests for furlough, because of the mentioned problems, her demand is being still refused by the prosecutor.
It should be stressed that the businesses of Mr. Sadeghi and their house is being confiscated, which will leave their family with no income and shelter.
Mrs. Musana was arrested on January 28, 2013 and kept in solitary confinement of ward 209 for 75 days and was then transferred to the women’s ward.
On January 13, 2015, the political prisoner was released temporarily on a bail of 2 billion IRR. Mrs. Musana along with her husband, Hassan Sadeghi were sentenced each to 15 years in prison at Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court by Judge Ahmadzadeh on charge of collaboration with the MEK.
On September 30, 2015, Mrs. Musana was arrested and then transferred to the women’s ward.
