Hamid Jalilvand Summoned and Arrested in Tehran

HRANA News Agency – Hamid Jalilvand has been arrested since early July, after being summoned by the security forces.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a family member of Mr. Jalilvand, announcing this news, said: “Hamid Jalilvand was summoned for the second time, after returning from a trip abroad and this time he did not return home. It is ten days that his family has no news of him.”

According to this source, Hamid Jalilvand, labor activist and from religious minorities, was arrested previously in 2009 on unknown charges and was detained for nearly three months in Evin prison

Mr. Jalilvand’s family says that he was also summoned three months ago due to “Distribute leaflets related to Christianity”, and was threatened.
