HRANA News Agency – Heshmatollah Tabarzadi, political prisoner, was released from prison, after almost 5 and a half years imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Heshmatollah Tabarzadi was released from Prison, in the evening of Tuesday30th June, with the application of Article 134 and Aggregation of the charges.
It should be noted that Heshmatollah Tabarzadi’s imprisonment sentence was nine years, but applying Article 134 and the accumulation of offenses, leaded to earlier freedom of this political prisoner, after about five and a half years.
Heshmatollah Tabarzadi is the Secretary of the Democratic Front of Iran and has a number of arrests and more than 10 years imprisonment in his case. He was arrested on 28^th December 2009 and was sentenced to 9 years imprisonment.
This journalist had been, previously, director of some publications such as “Payame Daneshjoo”, “Hoviate Khish” and “Gozareshe Rooz”.
