Hossein Ronaghi on Hunger Strike after Being Transferred to Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, who was arrested after being summoned to Evin court and transferred to prison, began hunger strike after being transferred to ward number 8 of Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the forensic had confirmed that he cannot stay in the prison due to his physical issues, however he was transferred to Evin prison. His family has stated that he has received Supreme leader’s pardon as well.
He spent anight in quarantine ward and finally was transferred to ward number 8 of Evin prison on Sunday, March 2.
A close source to him told HRANA’s reporter, “Hossein Ronaghi Maleki began hunger strike in protest to being transferred to financial criminals’ ward”.
He continued, “when we described the physical condition of Hossein to prosecutor, he responded even if he die, media would make fuss for few days and then everything will be finished”.
Hossein Ronaghi Maleki has been charged with founding illegal group and membership in alike groups, by branch number 26 of revolutionary court with chief judge Pirabbasi, and has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Mr. Ronaghi is suffering from appendix problems.
