Ibrahim Firuzi In Critical Health Condition In Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Ibrahim Firuzi, Christian prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison of Karaj, is facing medical negligence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ibrahim Firuzi, imprisoned Christian in Rajaei Shahr prison, has been suffering from pain in the left side of his chest since more than a year ago, but despite the progress of the pain, prison authorities and medical staff of prison reject to provide him with proper medical treatment.

During this period, he had only one blood test and after the request of physician for a second test, warden officer did not allow him to be transferred to prison’s clinic.

Ibrahim Firuzi has been sentenced to 5 years in prison in branch 28 of the revolutionary court by judge Moghiseh.

He was tried on March 8, 2015 in branch number 28 of the revolutionary court by judge Moghiseh on charge of acts against the national security, in which he met with his lawyer for the first time.

This new converted to Christianity citizen who has been arrested on August 25, 2013, has multiple arrests on his record, and previously was sentenced to one year in prison and two years exile to Sarbaz town, by Robat Karim court. Althugh sentence was finished on January 13, 2015, he was kept in prison until his new case being completed and finalized.

Ibrahim Firuzi is currently kept in ward number 10 of Rajaei Shahr prison.
