Jamshid Sadegh al-Hosseini Sent On Furlough From Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Jamshid Sadegh al-Hosseini, political prisoner of Rajai Shahr prison was sent on leave.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Jamshid Sadegh al-Hosseini, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, was sent on leave on Wednesday 7th October.
Jamshid Sadegh al-Hosseini, engineer, was arrested by the security officials on charges of collaboration with the government of America in 2008.
He was sent to Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court, presided by judge Salavati, after a long period of imprisonment in ward 209 in Evin prison, and after a year that he had not met his lawyer.
The court considered him as an enemy of God, and with a degree of discount, sentenced him to life imprisonment and exile in Rajai Shahr prison.
The sentence was upheld precisely by Branch 54 of the Appeal Court of Tehran province, presided by judge Movahed, without any theoretical rigor, even prevented the case to be sent to the Supreme Court.
The Court of Appeals has agreed later on, with his appeal and reconsidered his conviction and acquitted his charge of “Combat”, and reduced his sentence to 10 years imprisonment.
