At Least 47 Bahai’s Deprived of Higher Education

HRANA News Agency – At least 47 Baha’is in different cities of Iran in were banned from continuing their education in the universities under the pretext of “defect in application”. Following will be the list of these Baha’is.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), “Defect in Application” is an excuse that is usually being used by the Educational Testing Organisation to deprive Baha’is of higher education.
According to a confidential resolution of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution of Islamic Republic of Iran, Baha’is, in addition to exclusion from employment in public places, are deprived of university education.
The list of Baha’is barred from attending higher education, who attended the higher education entrance examination in 2016, which has been collected primarily using the information bank of “campaign of harassment and imprisonment of Baha’i citizens” and is as follows:

  1. ای ظالمین ارض این جوانان با لیاقت را از تحصیللات عالی محروم میکنید برای چه یزید با اون مقام شامخ قرنهاست مورد لعنت عالم اسلامست اخراج این جوانان از دانشگاه فقط ضرر به ممکت ایران و جامعۀ ایرانی است و الا این جوانان از راهی دیگر امرار معاش کرده و به زندگی عاقلانه خود دوام خواهند داد
