HRANA News Agency – The bail of 2 billion IRR was issued for Leila Abdi Nejad, Christian convert from Mehrshahr of Karaj who earlier was reported to be held in ward 209 of Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Leila Abdi Nejad, daughter of Moses and married is a Christian convert from Mehrshahr of Karaj in Alborz province and has been arrested at her home by the security forces.
A close source to Abdi Nejad family told in an interview with HRANA’s reporters about the latest developments in her case: “The officers contacted the family and announced that a bail of 2 billion IRR was issued for her which her family is trying to provide and deposit.”
It is worth noting that security agents had announced to her father and husband that her charge was “promoting Christianity”.
