Majid Mohammadi Moin Under The Pressure Of Authorities In Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Majid Mohammadi Moin, political prisoner who was on hunger strike to protest against the recent ruling and his family’s bad situation, created for him because of this ruling, was forced by the security guards inside the prison to sign a statement regarding his personal responsibility for his health arising from his hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Majid Mohammadi Moin, imprisoned in ward 8 of Evin prison, who was on hunger strike to protest the recent ruling and his family’s bad situation, created for him because of this ruling, was forced by the security guards inside the prison to sign a statement regarding his personal responsibility for his health arising from his hunger strike, and accept that he would be responsible for his health.
Majid Mohammadi Moin, prisoner in ward 8 of Evin prison, has gone on hunger strike since 4th October, to protest the lack of sufficient evidence in his case.
His demand is impartial proceedings of his case and being sent on leave until his case is clarified.
Majid Mohammadi Moin has been enduring his 4-year-imprisonment sentence from January 2011, in Evin prison and in a new case was sentenced to one year more imprisonment.
Mr. Mohammadi Moin, was sentenced to one year imprisonment in 2014, while he was in prison, on charge of propaganda against the regime. After he protested against the issued ruling, Branch 36 of the Province Appeals Court approved the new sentence and he was notified of this sentence in August.
Majid Mohammadi Moin, a journalist of “Bayan”, and “Salam” newspapers, and director of the Economic Committee of “Young Sport Writers Association” had been sentenced to 4 years imprisonment on charge of gathering and collusion and acting against national security.
