HRANA News Agency – Mashallah Haeri, political prisoner, was released from Rajaee Shahr Prison in Karaj.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mr Haeri had spent more than 6 years in Evin and Rajaee Shahr Prisons. His body condition was reported deteriorated with respect to his age.
Mashallah Haeri was arrested on 6 December 2009 and transferred to solitary confinement in Ward 209 of Evin Prison. He spent 74 days in the solitary confinements of this ward.
He was sentenced to 15 years in prison and exile on the charge of “revolting against God through contacts with PMOI” by Branch 28 of Tehran Revolutionary Court presided by Judge Moqiseh.
