No medical furlough for Afshin Baymani

HRANA News Agency – In contrast with providing bail and earlier promises of authorities to Afshin Baymani, he is prevented from being sent to furlough.
 
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), earlier the governor judge of Khodabakhsh prison, agreed with his furlough on a more than 300 million Tomans bail on Eid-e-Ghadir.
 
Despite providing the bail, this judicial authority is discouraging Afshin Baymani’s furlough.
 
According to Earlier publicized media report, Afshin Baymani, who is diagnosed with heart disease and deprived of primitive medical treatment, has several times requested for medical furlough which is not accepted.
 
Afshin Baymani, the political prisoner of hall 12 of Rajaei Shahr prison, was arrested on September 15, 2000 on charge of helping his brother’s escape (Mehdi Baymani), and was sentenced to death.
 
This sentence was confirmed by appeal court, but after 6 years, it was reduced to life prison.
