Mehdi Rajabian Transferred to a Hospital on the 12th Day of Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Rajabian, imprisoned artist in Evin prison, was transferred to a hospital following stomach bleeding resulted from hunger strike. In another news, security authorities of this prison, has threatened prisoners on hunger strike and prisoners who signed the letter in support of these prisoners.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mehdi Rajabian, imprisoned artist, was transferred to Taleghani hospital, following stomach bleeding resulted from hunger strike on his 12th day of strike, on November 8.

Mr. Ghobadi, head of security of this prison visited ward number 8 along with two officers and threatened prisoners on strike and prisoners who signed the letter to support them.

This security authority had harsh behavior with these prisoners and threatened them with their legal cases. He directly said to Nasrollah Lashani and 10 other signers of the supporting letter, that they would be deprived of having furlough.

Need to be mentioned, 4 political prisoners in ward number 8, Vahid Sayadi, Arash Sadeghi, Mehdi Rajabian, and Ali Shariati are respectively on hunger strike.
