At Least 2 Prisoners Executed in Salmas

HRANA News Agency – At least two prisoners with drug related charges were executed in Salmas.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), at least two prisoners were hanged in Salmas prison, on November 1st. One prisoner was transferred from Uremia prison to Salmas. These prisoners were charged with drug related charges.

HRANA identified these prisoners as Sami Mamedi and Iraj Hamedi.

HRANA previously had reported that at least 9 prisoners with drug related charged, including one from Uremia prison, had been transferred to solitary confinement on October 29th.
