Motalen Ahmadian’s Temporary Detention Extended Again

HRANA News Agency – The temporary detention of Motaleb Ahmadian, political prisoner in Saghez prison was extended once again, despite five years of uncertainty. The political prisoner in Sanandaj prison was transferred to Saghez prison on May 3, and simultaneously was interrogated about a new case but still no court has been formed for him.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Motaleb Ahmadian, political prisoner in Sanandaj prison was transferred to Saghez prison on May 3, and simultaneously was interrogated about a new case and still after five years of detention his temporary detention has been extended yet once again.
A close source to the prisoner told HRANA’s reporter: “In the new case he has not been sent to the court so far.”
Motaleb Ahmadian, 31, from Baneh, was arrested on October 5, 2010, and after about 230 days in solitary confinement, on the charge of combat through membership in Kurdish parties, was sentenced to 31 years imprisonment and exile to Minab prison. He also, has a separate case, and is facing the charge of involvement in homicide, the charge that he has denied.
