HRANA — Today and in recent days, HRANA has reported additional executions in the prisons of Nahavand, Ilam, Behbahan, Ferdows, and Kashmar.
Sunday, November 23:
According to HRANA, the death sentence of Mohammadali Jahanian was carried out in Nahavand Prison on a murder charge. Another prisoner, Kambiz Forrokhi, was also executed in Ilam Prison on a murder charge.
Tuesday, November 25:
Behzad Alipour was hanged in Behbahan Prison on a murder charge. The death sentence of Shahram Shamsi was also carried out in Ardabil Prison, likewise on a murder charge.
Thursday, November 27:
A prisoner named Nourkhoda Shahrokhi was executed in Ferdows Prison on a murder charge. In addition, Nemat Gholami was hanged in Kashmar Prison on charges related to drug offenses.
As of the time this report was prepared, none of these executions have been announced by prison authorities or relevant state institutions.
From the beginning of the current year through the end of October, 1,286 people have been executed in Iran. Among them, 567 were executed on murder charges and 608 on drug-related charges. Many of these executions were never officially announced by state bodies.
