Omid Shahmoradi started hunger strike
HRANA News Agency – Omid Shahmoradi the political prisoner in ward 350 of Evin prison started hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Omid Shahmoradi started hunger strike on September 20 at 12 P.M. in protest to his uncertain situation because of being ignored by the authorities in respond to his following up around the accusations, not having access to lawyer and as well the recent family issues.
This political prisoner was arrested last year and released on bail after 62 days solitary confinement in ward 209 of Evin prison. Finally he was sentenced to three years of imprisonment in branch 15 of revolutionary court by judge Salevati on charge of gathering and colluding through presence in street protests.
He introduced himself to Evin prison in September in terms of verdict enforcement and has been transferred to ward 350.
