HRANA News Agency – Among the hundreds of conscience prisoners, at least 13 of them from prisons across the country were send to Nowruz furlough or have been released on the eve of the New Year.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), prisoners of conscience who have been sent to Nowruz furlough this year are: Ali Hashemi, Hadi Heidari, Keyvan Mehregan, Mostafa Tajzadeh, Mostafa Azizi, Mahmood Beheshti, Meysam Mohammadi, Amir Nazar Nouri, Amir Golestani and Massoud Syed Talibi.

Also Mr. Jafar Ganji, a political prisoner in ward number 350 of Evin prison, 6 weeks after the end of his sentence, Ali Nikbakht 75-year-old prisoner from Golpayegan prison, because of disease and lack of tolerance of punishment and Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Nekounam, a political prisoner in Qom prison were released.
