5 Facebook Activists Released from Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Fariborz Kardar, Masoud Ghasemkhani, Masoud Talebi, Amir Golestani, Amin Akramipoor, prisoners known as “Facebook activists”, were released on parole from Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), at least five prisoners of Evin prison with the names of Fariborz Kardar, Masoud Ghasemkhani, Masoud Talebi, Amir Golestani and Amin Akramipoor were released on parole. Roya Saberi Nobakht in Poor Conditions in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Despite releasing five defendants of the so-called “Facebook activists’ case” on June 15, Ms. Roya Saberi Nobakht one of the defendants is keep in the women’s ward of Evin prison with poor health status, despite promises by the authorities to be released. Ms. Nobakht is suffering from an unknown disease but no serious action has been taken for her treatment so far.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Roya Saberi Nobakht, Iranian-British citizen is one of the nine social network activists who was arrested by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards after returning to the country in Shiraz in 2013. The 9 people were sentenced to 127 years imprisonment by Branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court on charges of “assembly and collusion against national security”, “propaganda against the system”, “insulting religious sanctities”, “insulting the supreme leader” and “insulting the people”. 3 Political Prisoners Returned to the Prisons by the End of Their Furlough

HRANA News Agency – Amir Golestani, Paiman Arefi and Adalahd Jalilzadeh who were sent to new year furlough on March 19th, went back to the prison.

A Report on Political Prisoners’ Nowruz Furlough

HRANA News Agency – Among the hundreds of conscience prisoners, at least 13 of them from prisons across the country were send to Nowruz furlough or have been released on the eve of the New Year.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), prisoners of conscience who have been sent to Nowruz furlough this year are: Ali Hashemi, Hadi Heidari, Keyvan Mehregan, Mostafa Tajzadeh, Mostafa Azizi, Mahmood Beheshti, Meysam Mohammadi, Amir Nazar Nouri, Amir Golestani and Massoud Syed Talibi. Amir golestani Ended His Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Amir golestani ended his hunger strike after 11 days by the judicial authorities’ promises based on addressing his parole process.

Amir Golestani On The 20th Day Of Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Amir Golestani, political prisoner of Evin prison who was supposed to be sent to hospital for skin disease, was not transferred due to his refusal of wearing prison uniform and handcuff. This prisoner is on hunger strike since more than 20 days ago, in protest to rejection to his parole.

Amir Golestani Gone On Hunger Strike In Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Amir Golestani, one of the convicts of the case of Facebook activists, has announced his hunger strike in Evin prison. This prisoner said that despite confirming his good behavior and request of parole, prosecution authorities refrain from pursuing the process of parole.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amir Golestani who has been arrested and detained since August 2013,  would take advantage of parole by spending more than a third of his sentence and also prison officials have confirmed his good behavior and the eligibility for parole. Amir Golestani Waiting For The Approval Of Prosecutor For His Parole

HRANA News Agency – Close sources to Amir Golestani said that the authorities in Evin prison had accepted the parole and he were waiting for the approval of the prosecutor. Amir Golestani is among the so-called Facebook activists, who has been arrested and detained since 2014.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amir Golestani who has been sentenced to 7 years and 9 months in prison for the administration of Facebook pages, is currently serving the sentence in ward number 8 of Evin prison. 8 Facebook Activists Sentenced to 133 Years Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – 133 year imprisonment sentence of 8 Facebook activists was just confirmed by the Revision department of the Supreme Court.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), during the past few days, the Supreme Court confirmed the sentences for Masood Seyed Talebi, Fariborz Kardarfar, Amin Akramipoor, Amir Golestani, Masood Ghasemkhani, Mehdi Rayshahri, Roya Saberi Nezhad Nobakhti and Naghmeh Shahsavandi. 128 years in prison for 8 cyber activists

HRANA News Agency – Branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court issued a total of 128 years in prison sentence for eight individual cyber activists.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), they were notify of the court verdicts ,today, that are as follow, Amin Akramipour, detained on 30/11/2013, 13 years and one day, Amir Golestani, detained on 20/08/2013, 20 years and one day, Masood Ghasemkhani, detained 01/11/2013, 19 years and 91 days, Saied  Masood Talebi, 15 years and one day, Fariborz Kardarfar, 18 years and 91 days, Mehday Reishahri, detained 23/11/2013, 11 years, Roya Saberi, detained 01/11/2013, 20 years and one day, and, Naghmeh Shahsavandi Shirazi, who was released on bail till now, 7 years and one day imprisonment.
