Saeid Hossainzadeh Deprived Of Medical Treatment

HRANA News Agency – Despite the presence of the specialist physician, Saeid Hossainzadeh was still prevented from medical treatment. He is a civil right activist who is imprisoned in ward number 7 of Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), despite the presence of a specialist physician in ward number 7 of Evin prison, Saeid Hossainzadeh did not get any treatment with this excuse that “he was not on the list”.
According to the informed sources, in response to the protest of Saeid Hossainzadeh regarding being examined, the physician gave him two or three tablets. This is while this civil rights activist is taking 7 to 8 pills a day for his diseases like heart disease, arthritis and joint disease.
An informed source told HRANA’s reporter in this regard, “The family of this prisoner has tried to transfer him to a hospital in order to be examined by a specialist physician, but yet they have not been able to get the permission.”
This informed source also said that despite the fact that his family had accepted all of the conditions of the authorities, yet they have been preventing him from being transferred to the hospital. Despite all physical issues of this civil rights activist, after every effort for transferring to hospital, Khodabakhshi, the supervisor persecutor of the Evin prison has said to Saeid that “it is Ok and he is fine”.
Saeid Hossainzadeh was arrested in October 2014 by the revolutionary guards at his house and transferred to the solitary confinement of ward 2-A of Evin prison.
He was sentenced to 7 years in prison by branch 28 of the revolutionary court by judge Moghiseh on charge of intention for disrupting national security, collusion against the regime and insulting the supreme leader. This sentence was confirmed on branch number 36 of the appeal court by judge Zargar.
