Security Forces Seized all the Books of Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Nekounam

HRANA News Agency – Security forces with an order issued by the Special Clerical Court, went to Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Nekounam’s house and removed the seal from his books warehouse and seized all the books.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Friday, 24th April, security forces with an order issued by the Special Clerical Court, went to Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Nekounam’s house in Qom city and removed the seal from his books warehouse and seized all the books, although all the books were licensed by the Ministry of Culture. 
An informed source in this regard, told HRANA’s reporter: “All those books had a permission from the Ministry of Culture and security forces transferred the books to an unknown location, by dozens of Nissan pick-up trucks.”
He added: “Those books with religious and philosophical content and were welcomed by the public opinion in all exhibitions and thereby provided clarification about the bad situation of religious and people who claim religiosity”.
Titles and contents of some seized books are: Monograph catechism, Medical Orders, New Orders, Hajj, Music and “ghena” in seven volumes and so on.
Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Nekounam is imprisoned cleric and critic of the Iranian leadership, who suffers from various diseases and is held in Qom prison. He has been sentenced to endure five years of imprisonment and recently had a stroke in solitary confinement and is in need of medical care.
HRANA had reported earlier that Ayatollah Nekounam had been held in prison from 1st January 2014. For about the first two months of detention he was held in solitary confinement and in 57 days in solitary confinement he had a stroke and was taken to the Ayatollah Golpayegani hospital in Qom, and then he was admitted in other hospitals such as A’tieh hospital in Tehran from 16th March till 16th April 2015.
He is now in the ward of clericals in coastal prison of Qom.
