HRANA News Agency – Arash Mohammadi, the leftist student activist was released on Saturday June 7th, after serving his sentence.

An Azeri political prisoner on day 8th of hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – Ayat Mehrali Baigloo, the Azeri political prisoner in central prison of Tabriz, is on day 8th of his hunger strike.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ayat Mehrali Baigloo, is on hunger strike in protest at: summoning and threatening the families of political prisoners, exiling the political prisoners in order to make more difficulties for their families, rejection of requests to be transferred to their own cities, inspection of their houses violently and terrorizing their families and banning them from having furlough, since Tuesday, April 15. 2 political prisoners are on hunger strike in Tabriz Prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Mohammadi and Ayat Mehrali Baigloo, the political prisoners of central prison of Tabriz, have started their hunger strike since April 15th, in protest at the pressure of the intelligence and security forces to political prisoners’ families

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), these political prisoners have announced that they have started their hunger strike in protest at persecution, arresting and threatening political prisoners’ families, and exiling political prisoners and depriving them of having furlough. Shahrokh Zamani on day 29 of hunger strike

HRANA News Agency – Shahrokh Zamani, the member of the provisional board for reopening of House-Painter Workers’ Union and the Follow-up Committee to Set up Free Labor Organizations is spending the 29th day of his hunger strike.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shahrokh Zamani has been exiled from Rajai Shahr Prison to Ghezelhesar Prison on March 11th. (more…)

HRANA News Agency – Arash Mohammadi, the imprisoned leftist student activist, has begun hunger strike announcing his support to Shahrokh Zamani’s demand of being returned to Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj.

After a 6-day furlough, Arash Mohammadi returned to prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Mohammadi, the leftist student activist, who had come on furlough since January 22nd, returned to Tabriz Central Prison on January 28th.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the authorities of Tabriz Central Prison had first agreed with a 4-day furlough for him which was extended for 2 days afterwards because of his kidney disease. (more…)

Imprisonment sentences for 2 student activists in Tabriz

HRANA News Agency – Amir Nazeri and Afshin Barzegar Jamshidi, the student activists of Tabriz University, have been sentenced to 6 months in prison, by judge Shokoohtazeh, in branch 104 of Tabriz criminal court.

 

Naghi Mahmoudi, the attorney lawyer, told to HRANA’s reporter: “These two student activists, align with Arash Mohammadi, had been arrested in a gathering in the evening of June 15, 2013 by IRGC and were released after two days, on a 10 million Toman bail”. (more…)

Arash Mohammadi’s verdict has been confirmed by the appeal court

HRANA News Agency – The branch 6 of Eastern Azerbaijan provincial appeal court confirmed the six months imprisonment verdict of Arash Mohammadi, the leftist student activist imprisoned in Tabriz prison.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Arash Mohammadi was sentenced to six months of imprisonment on July 10, 2013 by judge Bagherpour in branch 3 of Tabriz revolutionary court on charge of propagating against Islamic regime of Iran with two other student activists.  (more…)

HRANA News Agency – The third branch of the revolutionary court of Tabriz has sentenced Arash Mohammadi, the leftist arrested student, to 6 months of prison.

 

Naghi Mahmoudi, the attorney lawyer said to HRANA: “he and two other student activists had been tried on July 10, 2013 in the third branch of the revolutionary court of Tabriz by Judge Bagher Pour on charge of propaganda against the regime.” (more…)
