2 Political Prisoners Of Urumieh Prison Returned From Solitary Confinement

HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Sabzi and Rahman Rashidzade, two political prisoners of Urumieh Prison who after announcing hunger strike had been transferred to solitary confinement, were returned to the ward by ending their hunger strike and the promise of prison authorities to address their demands.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the two mentioned political prisoners were asking the prison authorities to transfer them to the political prisoner’s ward, and were protesting the failure to implement the law that requires the prison authorities to classify and separate prisoners based on the crimes they have committed. Another Political Prisoner of Urumieh Prison Transferred to Solitary Confinement

HRANA News Agency – The political prisoners of Urumieh prison continue protesting against being kept in the same ward with the other prisoners.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), political prisoner, Mustafa Sabzi after declaring a hunger strike was sent to solitary confinement on Wednesday 13th January, after the failed promises based on the transmission to the political ward of Urumieh prison. A Political Prisoner Still Held In Solitary Confinement In Urumieh Prison

HRANA News Agency – Bahman Dalai Milan who was on hunger strike to protest the non-implementation of the principle of separation of offenses in Urumieh prison, is still being held in solitary confinements.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), another Prisoner, Raouf Mohammadali by the end of hunger strike came back to the ward after the favorable promise of the prison authorities. These two prisoner had been transferred to solitary confinement on 31 December. (more…)
