Imprisoned student activist transferred to hospital
HRANA News Agency – Maryam Shafipoor, the imprisoned student kept in Evin prison since April 25, 2013 was transferred to a hospital outside of the prison in handcuff.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Maryam Shafipoor has been transferred to a hospital due to her sever deterioration of health condition, while hospital’s physicians has diagnosed the reason of her pains are the wrong medications which are prescribed in the prison. HRANA News Agency – During the latest trial, Judge Salavati refused to release Maryam Shafipoor on bail and she was returned to Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the trial session of Maryam Shafipoor, the member of Mehdi Karroubi’s election campaigns women committee was held in branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran on February 2, 2014 after being under arrest for 7 months.
