Sarang Etehadi Free after 1 Year in Prison

HRANA News Agency – Sarang Etehadi was released from prison in Tehran today, at the end of a one-year sentence on charges of “propaganda against the state through participation in Bahai worship and prayer groups.”

Nasim Ashrafi Freed from Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Nasim Ashrafi was freed from Evin prison on April 8, having served a one-year sentence for her Bahai beliefs.

Arash Moghadam Aslanpoor Granted a 7-Day Leave

4 Political Prisoners Granted Short-Time Furlough

Sarang Etehadi begins a one-year sentence

HRANA News Agency – Mr. Sarang Etehadi has been summoned to begin serving his one-year prison sentence on charges of “propaganda against the state through participation in Bahai worship and prayer groups.”

Nasim Ashrafi arrested to begin her sentence

HRANA News Agency – Nasim Ashrafi, a Bahai from Tehran who was arrested in a wave of detentions of Bahais in Tehran, Mashhad and Shiraz in early July, 2012, was arrested on May 6, to begin serving her one-year sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), she was originally sentenced to 3 years in prison, in June 2013, but this was reduced by the review court.
