HRANA News Agency – Shahram Chiniyan Miandavab, a Bahai shopkeeper from Tehran who is serving an 8-year sentence, and who is held in block 1 of Rajai Shahr prison, which is reserved for dangerous prisoners, was placed in solitary confinement on August 19.

HRANA News Agency – Shahram Chiniyan Miandavab, a Tehran Bahai serving an 8-year sentence, has been moved to solitary confinement in Raja’i Shahr prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), he had been transferred from block 12 at Raja’i Shahr prison, which holds male prisoners of conscience including many Bahais, to block 1 of the prison, which is reserved for those convicted of serious crimes such as murder, rape and armed robbery on May 28th.
