Shahram Chiniyan Miandavab beaten and placed in solitary

HRANA News Agency – Shahram Chiniyan Miandavab, a Bahai shopkeeper from Tehran who is serving an 8-year sentence, and who is held in block 1 of Rajai Shahr prison, which is reserved for dangerous prisoners, was placed in solitary confinement on August 19.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA),  he was moved to the block for dangerous prisoners late in May, 2014: before that he was held with the prisoners of conscience in block 12. (more…)

HRANA News Agency – Shahram Chiniyan Miandavab, a Tehran Bahai serving an 8-year sentence, has been moved to solitary confinement in Raja’i Shahr prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), he had been transferred from block 12 at Raja’i Shahr prison, which holds male prisoners of conscience including many Bahais, to block 1 of the prison, which is reserved for those convicted of serious crimes such as murder, rape and armed robbery on May 28th. A political prisoner transferred to Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Farahi Shandiz, the political prisoner of Evin prison is transferred to ward number one of Rajai Shahr prison of Karaj, which is devoted for dangerous prisoners.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mehdi Farahi Shandiz has been transferred from ward number 8 of Evin prison to ward number 1 in hall 2 of Rajai Shahr prison. (more…)
