Three construction workers died because of building collapse

HRANA News Agency – Three construction workers one of who was Afghani died because of building collapsing in Shari’ati St. in Tehran.
According to a report by Mehr News, On Friday at 9:46 A.M. the collapse of a building in Shari’ati St. above Mirdamad was reported to the fire-station and emergency center, firemen from stations No. 29, 89 and 12 reached the scene immediately.
Investigations showed that workers were destroying an old three storey building which abruptly collapsed and they were buried under tons of walls and soil.
The rescuers brought out the three workers and after checking by doctors their death were confirmed.
Jalal Maleki the spokesperson of Tehran fire-station said “Six months ago the same building collapsed one more time and two workers were trapped under the collapsed walls and soil but fortunately they were rescued by firemen and since then the project was stopped however they started it again which resulted to this sad accident.”
“The victims are two Iranian and one Afghani workers who were about 30 years old”, he added.
