HRANA News Agency – One of Rajai Shahr prison’s wards was inspected unusually by the security agents and prison special guards, and during this inspection, tension and sporadic clashes between inmates and prison guards came up.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Thursday night, hall 7 of ward 3 in Rajai Shahr prison was full of security agents under the pretext of audit and inspection, and this forces inspected prisoners and their lounge.

It should be noted that this inspection was done at 2 o’clock after midnight and sometimes with violence and destruction of prisoners’ properties. Prisoners of this hall protested against the method of this inspection which was against the prison department’s regulations, and the prisoners’ protest caused some tensions in this ward.
