2 Activists from Gachsaran Released on the Bail

HRANA News Agency – Seyed Mohammad Miri and Ghasem Ghanbari, two political activists and resident of Dil village, a rural section of Ghachsaran city, who had been arrested by the intelligence service on Sunday July 31, were released on the bail. Hamid Bozorgzadeh, another activist who resides in this village has been summoned by the security authorities many times during this time.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Seyed Mohammad Miri and Ghasem Ghanbari, two political activist and residents of Dil village, were released on the bail on August 7.

A close source to them told HRANA’s reporter “intelligent service has utilized police for interrogation for one day during this arrest, but because these citizens did not confess, they were released on the bail”.

A local source explained the conduct toward political activists in Dil village to HRANA’s reporter, “Roohollah Bozorgzadeh is a student and is the brother of Hamid Bozorgzadeh whose name was in a law suit in 2013, on charge of selling painting spray to Seyed Mohammad Miri and Ghasem Ghanbari, and was summoned many times by security forces. Rooohollah Bozorgzadeh is working part-time in his brother’s shop to help him”.

Need to be mentioned that recently 6 political activists from this village have been sentenced to imprisonment for their peaceful activities.

Dil village is rural of Ghachsaran city, in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad province.
