2 Civil Rights Activists Acquitted of the Charges in the Court

HRANA News Agency – Sina Ershadi and Siamak Saifi, two residents of Meshkinshar were acquitted of the charge of propaganda against the regime.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), branch number 102 of the criminal court of Meshkinshahr acquitted Sina Ghorban Ershadi and Simak Saifi of the charge of propaganda against the regime by chanting separatists Azeri slogans.
These Turk activists were arrested during the anti-racism protests in Meshkinshahr in October 2015.
Last October, thousands of Turk residents, including residents of Tabriz, Uremia, Ardabil, Zanjan, Meshkinshahr, Khouy etc. started some rallies in protest to insults during a session of Fitileh show.
Participants in these rallies condemned racism in Iran by holding placards and chanting anti-racism slogans.
These protests turned violence after interference of the security and police forces and many protestors were arrested.
