4 Sunni prisoners are still in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency – Jamshid Dehghani who ended his hunger strike after 75 days is unable to eat and still needs to have serum injection.


According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Jamshid Dehghani who went on hunger strike for 75days, since November 4 until January 18, in protest to the death sentence is now on a serious condition after ending to his strike.


An informed source said to HRANA’s reporter: “Jamshid Dehghani has a very bad condition. He is not able to eat anything. He vomits everything immediately and then his color turns to yellow. He has been transferred to clinic three times since last night and every time physicians used serum, but his condition became worse.”


He also mentioned about the health and physical condition of other strikers: “Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Moulayi and Jahangir Dehghani are not in good condition as well, but the condition of Jamshid is more serious comparing with the others.”


These prisoners broke their strike after chairperson of prison and judicial authorities promised them regarding their transfer to Sunni prisoners’ ward of Rajaei Shahr prison and their retrial.


Jamshid Dehghani, Jahangir Dehghani, Kamal Moulayi and Hamed Ahmadi are transferred from Ghezelhesar to Rajaei Shahr prison on January 22 but two other Sunni prisoners with the names of Seddigh Mohammadi and Seyed Hadi Hossaini are still kept on ward number three of Ghezelhesar prison.
