HRANA News Agency – Syed Hadi Hosseini (left) and Seddigh Mohammadi (right), two Sunni prisoners with psychological illnesses on death-row in Iran, were transferred to Rajai Shahr prison earlier today.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the two men, who had been sentenced to death for ‘Moharabeh [enmity against God] through supporting Salafi groups’, had been held in appalling conditions in the notorious Ghezel Hesar prison near Tehran for the past two years. Sunni prisoner beaten severely at Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj

HRANA News Agency – The family of Seddigh Mohammadi, a Sunni prisoner suffering from psychological illnesses awaiting execution in Iran, say they found bruising and evidence of beating on his body during a recent visit to the prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the family had finally been allowed to visit Seddigh Mohammadi in Ghezel Hesar prison last week, after a year of being prohibited from visiting the prison. Psychologically ill Sunni prisoner held for 3 weeks in solitary

HRANA News Agency – A Sunni prisoner with psychological illnesses has been held in solitary confinement for more than three weeks in Iran’s Ghezel Hesar prison, after he was beaten by prison guards and removed from his prison ward.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Sunni prisoner of conscience Seddigh Mohammadi, who suffers from psychological illnesses, was subjected to a brutal beating by guards within the prison on 12 August 2014, leaving him with horrific injuries. Sunni prisoner with psychological illness taken to unknown location

HRANA News Agency – There is no news about the condition of a Sunni prisoner awaiting execution in Iran who was taken to an unknown location last week after being beaten by prison guards in Iran’s Ghezel Hesar prison in Karaj.

Two Sunni prisoners re-sentenced to death

HRANA News Agency – Two Sunni prisoners suffering from psychological illnesses are in danger of execution after their death sentences were confirmed by the Supreme Court in Iran.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the two men, Syed Hadi Hosseini and Seddigh Mohammadi, had ended a 7-week long hunger strike in December 2013 after being informed by lawyers that the Supreme Court had overturned their death sentences due to their psychological illnesses. Two Sunni prisoners are under extra pressure in Ghezel Hesar prison

HRANA News Agency – Seyed Hadi Hossaini and Seddigh Mohammadi, the Sunni prisoners of Ghezel Hesar prison are under the extra pressure by the authorities.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), after the transfer of Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Moulayi, Jamshid Dehghani and Jahangir Dehghani to Rajaei Shahr prison following their 75 days hunger strike, two other prisoners with the name of Seddigh Mohammadi and Seyed Hadi Hossaini, are still kept in Ghezelhesar and authorities are putting extra pressure on them. 4 Sunni prisoners are still in critical health condition

HRANA News Agency – Jamshid Dehghani who ended his hunger strike after 75 days is unable to eat and still needs to have serum injection.

HRANA News Agency – “Toorag” the political deputy prosecutor of Tehran and Evin prison’s chairperson has visited the prisoners who are on hunger strike.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the political deputy prosecutor of Tehran and Evin prison’s court chairperson, with the name of Toorag, visited the Sunni prisoners for the first time during last 57 days and practically negotiated with them. HRANA News Agency – The resident physicians of Ghezelhesar prison announced to judiciary authorities that kidneys and intestines of hunger striker prisoners are likely to be infected.

Hunger strike continues in Ghezel Hesar prison

HRANA News Agency – 6 prisoners of conscientious are on day 25 of their hunger strike while at least 1800 other prisoners of unit two in Ghezelhesar prison, are on their third day of hunger strike.
