HRANA News Agency – Tahereh Riyahi, Masoumeh Zia, Mahsa Raja`ti, and Mehrak Karimpoor, 4 civil rights activists were transferred from women’s ward in Evin prison to solitary confinements in ward 241 (security of judiciary). Ms. Karimpoor returned to the ward one day later, but three others are still in solitary confinement of ward 241, and due to this reason were deprived of visiting their families.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), four civil rights activists who are imprisoned in women’s ward in Evin prison with the name of Tahereh Riyahi, Masoumeh (Pegah) Zia, Mahsa Raja`ti, and Mehrak Karimpoor Andalibi are transferred to ward 241 of judiciary for unknown reasons.
While Mehrak Karimpoor Andalibi returned to the ward, but Ms. Riyahi Zia and Raj`ti are still in ward 241 and have been deprived of weekly visit with their families.
Mahsa Raj`ati (36 years old) is arrested on January 3, Tahereh Riyahi (35 years old) who is a journalist and editor of social secretary of Borna News, is arrested on January 5, Masoumeh (Pegah) Zia (39 years old) is arrested on January 5, and Mehrak Karimpoor Andalibi (24 years old) is arrested on December 28, and all were transferred from ward 209 to women’s ward on March 13.
These four citizens are charged with propaganda against the regime, and has been kept in solitary confinement of ward 209 throughout the interrogations.
