HRANA News Agency – Hossain Ghaderi, Yousef Moradi and Azad Saghezi, the Sunni prisoners of conscientious of Rajaei Shahr Karaj prison, are sentenced to two years in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hossain Ghasemi and Azad Saghez, the habitants of Javanrood, and Yousef Moradi, the habitant of Sar-Pol-Zohab were arrested by intelligence service and security forces, in Summer 2012, and after 6 months being kept in solitary confinement, had been transferred to Rajaei Shahr prison.
After near 16 months uncertainty and suspends, in a sentence by Branch number 28 of revolutionary court of Tehran, by governance of Judge Mohammad Moghisehei, they were sentenced to two years in prison on Wednesday November 13.
An informed source told to HRANA’s reporter: “these Sunni prisoners are charged with Moharaba (Fight with God), in spite of the fact which their only activity was prompting in mosques. They were also exempt from the right of having a counsel during judicial process.”
He also added: “The defendants announced they are innocent and appealed the sentence.”
