Majid Moghadam Is still Under Detention in Ward 2-A in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Majid Moghadam, who was arrested three months ago and transferred to ward 2-A of Revolutionary Guards, is still held in suspense in this ward.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Majid Moghadam was arrested on 3rd December 2014 at his father’s home by security forces and was transferred to ward 2-A in Evin Prison.

One of his relatives, in this regard told HRANA’s reporter: “He is now in ward 2-A of Revolutionary Guards, but we have been told that he will be transferred to general ward during current week.”

He is kept in a cell for 2 people in ward 2-A, and is deprived of right to hold telephone and having regular weekly visit.

It is to say, Majid Moghadam had been arrested by plainclothes agents because of taking part in a protest after the presidential elections in 2009, too and was transferred to Kahrizak detention center.
