HRANA News Agency – Six prisoners of ward 350 have been transferred to ward number 8 in Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Amir Golestani, Amin Akramipoor, Masoud Ghasemkhani, Mehdi Rayshahri Tangestani, Faroborz Kardafar and Masoud Seyyedtalebi have been transferred to ward number 8, on Wednesday, April 15th.
These prisoners, known as Facebook prisoners, have been sentenced to in total more than 100 years imprisonment because of their activities in the social media.
Ward number 8 is assigned for ordinary prisoners and pirated from Somalia are kept in this ward, too. This ward is one of the worst sections in Evin prison and political prisoners have shown their protests against the condition there in different ways.
