Mohammad Saeid Hossainzadeh Suffering from Rheumatism in Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Saeid Hossainzadeh is recently experiencing hardships from rheumatism and respiratory problems in ward number 8 of Evin prison, but his condition is being neglected by the authorities.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this civil rights activist has been suffering for three days from June 15 to June 17 from respiratory and heart attacks that resulted in his transfer to a hospital outside of prison.
According to a close source to Mr. Hossainzadeh, his transfer to hospital has been with harassment and with prison uniform, and for this reason he has stated that under such circumstances he would not accept the transfer to hospital anymore.
According to this source, he is also diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, but have received any treatment yet.
Saeid Hossainzadeh along with other political prisoners are kept in ward number 8 of Evin prison, which is considered to be one the worst wards in Evin.
Mohammad Saeid Hossainzadeh was arrested in September 2011 along with some other civil rights activists, on charge of collusion with the intention of acting against the national security and insulting supreme leader by security forces and transferred to ward 2-A (controlled by revolutionary guard) for interrogation.
After the interrogation and being transferred to ward number 8, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison sentence from branch number 28 of revolutionary court by chief judge Moghiseh, in April. Currently he is waiting for the outcome of the appeal court.
